make up experiments continue....amazing how what seemed like a LOT of eye makeup doesn't really seem to photograph that way.

for those of you who follow me on twitter, you know that i'm kinda makeup obsessed these days and more specifically investigating the world of bb creams. this is one i heard a lot about, made by a korean company, and not all that expensive (about $15), so i thought i'd give it a whirl. jury's still out on this one for me. i'm gonna try it for another week but some initial thoughts for people who are curious.

pros:
1) all in one product so it saves some steps in the morning routine
2) this does amazing things for pores. i have awful pores on and around my nose and this has done wonders for minimizing
3) it feels very light, like a nice moisturizer
4) this is best applied with fingers so no expensive foundation brushes necessary
5) MUCH cheaper than my usual face products (chanel/laura mercier) and a little goes a long way

cons
1) this casts a little grey in certain lights....it's supposed to come up to your skins coloring after it sits on your skin a bit and oxidizes but i still find it a little too cool in some lights
2) this doesn't wear as well over the course of the day as my usual chanel foundation or laura mercier tinted moisturizer, definitely need powder in my t-zone to minimize shine

About the only productive thing I did today was to make some tater tots. From scratch. No surprise but they were AWESOME.
