New Year's Revolution
This is a draft of our January series at In Focus Church, "New Year's Revolution." The series theme is commitment/servanthood and culminates with a Volunteer Sunday where members can sign up for different areas of service within the church.

Are the soldiers hand drawn? I think I see pen lines in the black filler of the soldiers silhouette. If you did, great job on the illustration

I had a vector of the soldiers but after I did the calligraphy, it didn't have the same "feel." So I printed out the the vector, traced it and filled it in. I like the way the pen marks look but I might darken them just a little bit so they aren't as noticeable, but still have texture.

great execution. it's been a while since i've hand-traced/filled a piece. I wish I had the time. jealous...
The red ink/paint for the type is perfect.
