ebb/flow

As I was standing there doing my long exposures (grateful for the perfect conditions) I was mesmerised by the amazing sound of the ebb tide. It's hard to describe but it was a kind of constant deep flowing noise, of a huge amount of water draining away. No rhythmic waves here.

I also had 'All through the city' going on in my head, and my first title was going to be 'It's a far cry from Canvey Island'
