Tamsin - I promise this will be a book :) Now I've seen these pictures printed for by a professional printer I finally have the confidence to do it. They look absolutely beautiful in real life, like little jewels...... the colours and all the details really jump of the page. It will also be a full circle of this project, because it started with the idea of a storybook without any words - just strange unexplained characters and scenes.
But mainly.... the most important part, will be that I can dedicate something proper, something real you can hold in your hands, to the memory of my mother. I've always found something so precious about books and how like jewellery people will keep them for years. The idea of being able to write her name in a book that is for her, will be a very special day for me.....
Maree - yes this is the paper mache shoot! Some rather strange things will be appearing soon :) ! ( I dyed the cape in my kitchen sink !! )
