Walton Lighthouse was a tough place to compose at because the sunset in January is almost SSE and the way the lighthouse ledges out into the ocean the only directions one can shoot with the coastline in view are SSW or S.
I chose to go ultrawide and neglected the coastline preferring instead to capture the dusk colors and I think that was a wise decision.

A family of ducks at Rodeo Lagoon while a misty ocean hides the city.

An inhospitible and visious place is the sea yet a long exposure can make it look so calm.

First visit to Rodeo Beach in Sausalito. Interesting formations... a pebbly beach in comparison to the beaches more in the south near Santa Cruz. Also seems like quite a few people like to surf here..
