Distribution: Western European endemic occurring in the Azores, northern Portugal, northern Spain, N.W. France, S.W. England and S.W. Wales.

Habitat: It occurs on coastal cliffs, sands, heaths and pastures, and inland in grassland, heaths and scrub.
