Snowbank

Snowbank

This is what I was pulling over to shoot when I disturbed the geese in a recent post. I'm glad the geese got startled because I like that better.

I've shot and posted this before with different cameras and films. I've even posted one with the LeClic before but in color. This is becoming a standard test shot I suppose.

This one is with the LeClic using Legacy Pro 400 (Neopan)

I'm playing hooky from work today. Although the new semester starts today at the community college and I work 3 nights a week teaching the next generation of truck drivers. 6- 11pm! Ugh, what's wrong with me!?!

I'm feeling a little bummed today. I just scanned a roll of film and am just not happy with it. This is not from that roll. It's from the archives.

I'm at a crossroads I think and can't do anything about it. The stuff I'm shooting is just not inspiring to me. I think this film thing is like a drug. I am really not feeling 35mm anymore and digital bores me. I'm so wanting to shoot medium format. The only thing I have in 120 is my Holga and although it's fun, it's not cutting it on an everyday basis. The kind of photos I want to make are out of the Holga's reach.

I don't know, it could be because I'm sick today. I had a 102 degree fever last night and went to work today anyway. I feel pretty crappy tonight and it's probably affecting my mood. :(

Off to bed!

Unbalanced

Unbalanced

Not sure how I feel about this. I've been shooting this area of this pond across from my house and have yet to come up with something I like. I feel like the lack of anything going on on the left side contrasted with the trees and brush on the right is out of balance. Thoughts? Honest thoughts? Really, you won't hurt my feelings. There's something about this that just bothers me. I may take it down but sometimes it helps to get another opinion.
