Not a Thursday comes and goes but what I don't think about it being "Retread Thursday" and my soul has missed retreading . . . so I'm here trying to find a spark of something lost. This is a retread of a picture titled "blown away" that I posted here originally on 02.03.08. Seems like an eternity ago. I know I can't go backwards but maybe this will help me move forward.

For those who know me, you know Kim Richey is my favorite female singer-songwriter. If you know that, you also know that it's impossible for me to pick a favorite song of Kim's but this one would always make my top 10 list on any given day. For some reason it's been rolling around in my head for a day or two and I picked this image from archives to provide the backdrop for it here. I hope it helps to introduce some of you to Kim who are not familiar with her amazing voice and songwriting skills.
