This is a closeup of one of the cupcakes I made earlier this week. :3 They were very nom!

Kira is so sweet, but very independent, and it's rare when she cuddles so closely in your lap. Sorry, Cody, I must savor this moment! She likes everything to be a certain way, so if I move much she will give me a haughty look and probably jump down. ;)

My backyard as of this morning. Woke up to a TON of snow on the ground, which was very surprising because this year's winter has been quite mild (like mostly t-shirt weather!) I had to scrape over 6 inches of snow off the car to get out!

The theme for yesterday, March 5, was cupcakes! So of course that was a perfect excuse to take the theme literally and make a batch. ;) I used this recipe but I really have to get more frosting tips b/c the C-shaped tip I used made the frosting swirls look like piles of poo. :P At least they were delicious! XD
