Handmade geometric 'mountain' brooch
Brooch I made for JumpUp out of wool from a damaged, felted jumper.
Hand-stitched white lines to create a 'snowcapped' effect.
I like how the colour looks against my red jumper here...interesting
collection of textures and patterns I think?
More about me and my making is in my Flickr profile.

Hi Cat I hope you are well, thank you for visiting my stream, I am sure we will get more snow this year but in Cornwall as you know it tends not to stay too long. (where abouts in the south west are you if you don't mind me asking?. I am in Dobwalls nr, Liskeard)....... you are very talented and I like to see the wonderful things you have made. It's great that a lot is made from recycled garments and materials too. I like this picture of the broach that you have made, it looks fabulous and it is a lovely photo of it. take care my friend, have a wonderful day and a great weekend, best wishes, steve.

Hi Steve thanks for your kind comments :) No we don't get long lasting snow here, quite a contrast to where I come from originally! I don't know Liskeard very well, I live further west.
