Kamikaze attack - April 01, 1945

Kamikaze's Zero fighter approaching
Kamikaze attack - April 01, 1945 by Rose Rossetti.
On April 1, 1945, a 19-year old Kamikaze pilot honoured his Emperor by piloting his bomb-laden fighter straight for the USS Missouri. The left wing hit the the battleship and the nose of the plane crashed into the hull of the Missouri. What's strange is that the bombs on board the Zero fighter jet did not detonate.

Image was captured by one of the sailors on board, name unknown. I merely took a picture of the display image. As I did that , I thought & even now I still think of what might have been going through the pilot's mind that very moment.
