Árbol

As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, we had the honor of creating a small installation at Sopa de Principe in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

Árbol is the largest project we've created thus far. We started with something Enzo drew, but added elements from some of Sophia's drawings as well. The underlying cardboard structure is very similar to that used for a chair that Roberto built with his students several years ago.

This was a frustrating project to photograph (due to inexperience, of course) and we're still not too happy with the way they came out. Nonetheless, the full set includes images from both sides and some details. In another bunch, you can also see several photos taken during construction and some more drawings.

If you have a chance to go by in the next week or two, Árbol should still be in Sopa's window. Even after that, if you are in Buenos Aires, do visit the shop – Verónica is constantly adding new toys and changing the display. It's a very delightful and charming place. And Objetos Encontrados is right next door.

Thank you, Véronica and Nicolás and Olivia.
