I am committed to posting something after every walk with my gear...
Lately it's been a challenge since the weather is miserable every time I go out (typical January in Western PA)
(It's obvious how miserable the day was when I can't coax any color out of my pixels)
But I like it when the weather forces most people to stay indoors...so I have some space...
Despite the rain, snow, and wind... this quiet, grey day was exactly what I needed :-)

I was determined to hike at least 4 miles today...
The weather was already questionable... mid 30's, overcast, and windy.
About 20 minutes into my hike, it started raining...of course...
Turns out I hiked almost 6 miles as the rain turned to snow, then back to rain... again and again.
The only thought that kept running through my head...
... I don't mind...

I was really annoyed by the neon ice cream sign behind this beautiful horse and carriage... but the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me.

Nashville is an old town and I love the feel of the old southern values and charm while enjoying all the trappings of a bustling modern metropolis.

After walking around downtown Nashville for a couple of hours... we decided that the weather wasn't going to cooperate with our photographic intentions... so, we ducked into the Flying Saucer for a pint or two.

That's ALWAYS a good plan :-)
