World Peace....is it possible??
World peace: is the utopian ideal of planetary non-violence by which nations cooperate, either voluntarily or by a system of governance that prevents warfare.
I don't understand why it is so hard for some people to accept others
as they are. I don't understand why some are taught as young children
to HATE a certain type of person because they don't have the same
belief systems as they do. Why don't we teach our children to embrace
the worlds differences as a positive thing, and accept one another as
individuals. Why not celebrate the differences and learn from one
another? Why can't we all just learn to get along (the old famous
saying) ???
I know it's easier said than done, especially when some of the hatred
goes back thousands of years. Maybe world peace will never be
possible??

I hope there will be peace some day but I do not believe it at all... as you wrote some of the fights last for thousand years - the change will take a long time :´(

WOW, thank you to EACH AND EVERYONE of you for your positive responses to this. I was a little hesitant on posting it for some reason, but I am glad i did now. I think we all see it the same way, but realize it's just not possible in the GRAND scheme of things.
