    Weather not withstanding, St. John's is a colourful place. The older houses with wooden sidings are brightly coloured especially in the downtown area (viewed here). This was taken from Signal Hill across from the GeoCentre.

      I'm looking forward to seeing the colours of St. John's for myself in a couple of weeks. Shots like this make me look forward to the visit all the more.

      I didn't recognize this at first glance, looked like some port in the Caribbean, but on closer view, I see it's good old St. John's! Nice!
