Made Explore Interestingness page for July 25, 2007; ranked as high as 77 for Interestingness.

Photo taken by carefully kneeling on the steps at the edge of the plaza and using the ground as a "tripod" with the 10mm lens. All after hanging out in downtown waiting for the lights to finally come on to get the shot. (Patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to photography!)

When I look at this, it makes me think this is what the Dark Tower (from the Stephen King books) would look like if it were the White Shiny Tower instead.

Wow, absolutely amazing shot. Something about it reminds of an Edgar Allen Poe story "Masque of the Red Death." Just seems fitting.

well done! It's a hard structure to get a good photo of, since it's so big, and there are few unobstructed views far enough away (Unless you happen to have a 10mm lens). I settled for taping two shots together in the old scrapbook. :-) I never got to see it at night, though. Do you have any shots of the organ inside?
