The Exit

I wanted to be in the middle of the action to capture the feel of Mercedes & Tim leaving.

Only problem with that? I was picking birdseed out of my shoes for the rest of the day!

Made it to #157 on Flickr Explore for 12/16/07.

love this! any word on how she's doing?

Myla, she is doing a lot better! She still has no memory of the accident or what she did right beforehand, but that is probably a good thing.

Thanks Erin! This was another of those warm, fuzzy, just what I wanted shots!

      This is beautiful.
(And it's better to have birdseed in your shoes than inside your camera!)

This is a really fun shot. Most of the weddings I've done have been sparklers at night, unfortunately. Maybe I'll get a good shot like this in one day :)

Did you have the flash turned down?

This is such a fun action, right in the middle of the action! I love it!

bigjohno - not sure if I had it turned down or not. Most likely down to -2/3? I had just been firing inside, so I grabbed this without giving it much thought other than making sure it was on to freeze the birdseed.

MarkElkins - I actually want a sparkler wedding sometime, although I've been told they can be really tricky! Sparklers short, and sometimes smoking.

cybertoad - we need to post the one you got of the groomsman dumping the giant bowl of birdseed on the groom! I love that one!

Thanks Christine, I think it must be turned down as it hasn't bleached them or cast a big shad just great freeze shot

      Very nice
