Today I attended a flickrmeet to honor a special guest. Ryo Hirosawa from Japan. Hirosan is member of our flickrmeet group even though he lives In Japan. He has attended 2 other meets in the past but I was unable to attend them. What makes Hirosan a very special photographer is that he is completely blind (cannot see any light at all) He uses echos to tell him where the object he is shooting is at and also relied on help of friends in assiting him on critiquing the shot after he has taken it.
Please listen to his audio clip to learn more about Ryo and his photography

I am not normally known as a portrait photographer but am very pleased of the result of this on. It is straight out of the camera and is on the darker side as it was taken inside a dimly lit pub at ISO 400. f1.6 1/80 sec
