View of the exterior of the Museo de la Coria is a museum in Trujillo, a town in the Spanish region of Extremadura.
It is housed in a 15th century building which was formerly a convent, the Convento de San Francisco el Real. This is partly ruined so that the entrance is now through what would have been the nave of the convent church. The ruined vault of this church is what is seen here.
The building now houses the Xavier de Salas Foundation and its associated museum with exhibitions relating to the connections between Extremadura and Latin America, through the conquest of the New World and the mixing ('mestiza') of Spanish and pre-Colombian American cultures that this created.
