This is my Cosmic rose in its original colour, dressed up for April with a rainy "windshield" texture by dotlizard (thanks a lot for letting me use it!).

Nevertheless it has been a springlike and sunshiny week here in Berlin so far and I hope you are enjoying the same, wherever you are...and it's only one more day until the weekend...

The natural texture of their petals looked like precious silk to me...tiny Anemone hepatica (Hepatica nobilis) in the soft light of an early spring afternoon.

Finally and virtually overnight spring has arrived in Berlin! Where there was only grass a week ago...now fields of crocus are bursting with life. What a bliss!
