We left a relatively warm southern Missouri in March and headed north to Alaska. We saw many wonderful and scary sights along the wintery road. But it was a trip of a lifetime. If we had known what we had to deal with, driving a 37 foot motorhome in the dead of winter through Canada, we might not have made the trip. But looking back, it was truly an adventure we'll never forget. The bottom line is, with all the set backs, we made it with a few days to spare before we had to report to work at Corrington Enterprises in Skagway. We made many wonderful and enduring friendships in those six months we spent in Skagway. We met thousands of tourists, ship cruisers, bus people and automobile tourists. We'll never forget it.
