Hitler
"Bildnis des Führers" by Franz Triebsch, 1941
My concept with this work is, "If you change the media does it
change the meaning?"

?! How odd. Why would you want a picture of Hitler in your house? I like it because it's thought-provoking. You should also embroiderize Lenin and Mussolini for a triptych.

This is part of a larger series in which I recreate military portraits of propaganda and make them childlike with simple embroidery. As an artist I ask the viewer, does changing the media change the meaning?
The companion piece to this is my Napoleon. Currently I am working on Stalin.
