Sapphire Paradise

Sapphire Beach, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, taken with single-use camera and digital image obtained during processing.

Getting here was an adventure in and of itself, as the taxi drivers on this island could best be described as suicide drivers, which combined with the narrow roads and steep grades made one wish that more life insurance had been obtained before the trip. Still, well worth the trip, away from the throngs of other cruise ship passengers who descend on Magen's Bay or one of the other cruise ship tour beaches. There were maybe 10 people on this beach, and the snorkeling was great.

Thanks for the kind words candyonthebeach!
AP6, I don't recall the shipwreck being there. But then again, a few too many Rum'n'Coke may cloud one's memory a little! ;^)
