In the spring of 2012 Mel and I had the opportunity to travel with a group of grade 12 students from Faith Academy High School to Makeevka, Ukraine for a second time. We partnered with and gave most of our time to the “Shelter of the Good Shepherd” orphanage. The Shelter of the Good Shepherd orphanage has served over 1000 children in its 15 year history. Our time there was spent giving support to the workers at the shelter and leading programs for the orphans and underprivileged children in the area.
