Canada Geese Cleared for Landing

There's no shortage of these birds around here this time of year..... They are so common sometimes I forget I should photograph them once in a while.... I really liked the feathers on the wingtips here.

Sunset Rings for Aunt Theresa

One of my great aunts passed away yesterday. She was a wonderful and always welcoming woman and I have so many great childhood memories of her. I had the good fortune of attending her 100th birthday party last fall up in North Dakota. She had a good long run, which is all any of us can hope for, but she will be missed.
