It was frigid cold today and the Dees were everywhere singing thier
little hearts out.
My daughter is home from Australia where she goes to school so I'll
continue to be on and off flickr for the next little while. I have
some time this evening so I will visit your streams and do some
catching up.

This couldn't be more adorable and sharp. Love that pose and that he is looking down. Nice catchlight in the dees eyes. You are not going to want to give that camera up with shots like this coming out of it Cor!

What a cute capture. Little guy is really puffed up against the cold. Looks cold. I know you're tired of hearing it but I just love those snowing backgrounds and the evergreens. So much prettier than dried leaves and bare branches like we have.

I just knew from the thumbnail that this was your photo, it is your best little 'Dee shot yet, poor little thing, it is so cold here too, it was windy and very cold here today....tonight it is supposed to be below zero, the poor little creatures that have to be out there. Our little chickadees were very busy today...I have to agree with Bill, the snowy backgrounds always make your shots so beautiful.....keep these coming, this one is darling!!!

Amazing how well little Chickadees withstand such cold temps. This one sure was "fluffed up" to stay warm. Outstanding shot of him/her on the branch and in the sun to warm up. Superb feather detail and exposure. Nice catchlights. Our birds are lucky as it's been fairly mild this winter--so far.
