Yeah, I'm off a bit on the yearly HEROES Helix creatin' kick, since I made the HEROES Helix Stereograms back in March of '09. I had been creating stuff related to the HEROES Survival Game's Undaunted faction, though, if that counts for anything. From that activity, I messed around with making stereographic pairs of images, such as this one, and even figured out how to use the AvantGarde Md BT font (which is used for title of the show) to make a stereographic pair of images of the name in a perspective view, which you can see here.

Anyway, I've wanted to see what the HEROES Helix looked like with a stereographic pair of images, and finally decided to create it so I could visualize it. It's sometimes easier to achieve the 3D effect this way instead of using stereograms, so maybe folks can see this better?

Kinda related to undaunted faction banners I made for a banner contest, I wanted to make a simple logo for the faction, also. The pic of the tree is bordered by the outline of the letter "U" in Avant Garde Md BT font.

Currently, a glitch only shows the first 504 fan art submissions, so the next 15 can't be reached by the default link, although you can reach the HEROES Helix Stereogram and others directly.

You used to be able to at least see the newer 15 images earlier.

The page for this stereogram (1st posted here at 9thW), image #98393, which looked like it was online earlier, is now live.

Update: Well, you can't actually get to the image unless ya know the specific url, otherwise, you don't see the 15 newer images by using the default url for the HEROES Fan Art Gallery, and only see 504 instead of 519 images (screencap). Bummer.

This newsbrief tells that the HEROES Fan Art Gallery was updated, and it includes a link to the tattoo image which had been the latest submission until the update (although now, as of the 23rd of June, when clickin' on that link, you only get the first 504 art submissions - screencap).

Anyway, you can see that, 2 images before the tattoo (since they are listed in reverse chronological order), is a thumbnail of the HEROES Stereogram using the HEROES Helix as the depth mask and the season 3 cast pic as the background.

However, currently, that 506th submission, #98393, or the 7th by me, only has a dead link to it.

Update: This screencap shows it's now up, although, currently, you can only see it if you know the specific url.
