After working all day scanning old family photos it seemed appropriate to shoot one with my iPhone, using the Hipstamatic app and further processing it with Snapseed.
This is my grandmother on her wedding day, July 31, 1922 in San Diego, Ca.
My grandfather loved to take photographs so I have to think he would be amused with this set up! As I am! This year will be the 90th anniversary of that day!
They had quite the life-long love story and I'm sure it's still going strong!
Whenever we talk about this occasion we always remember her beau Clifford, who she broke off her engagement to
when she met my grandfather at a dance. Love at first sight. Then we all say " Poor Clifford"!

I spent the evening popping into different photo collections I have on facebook, google+,RedBubble and 500px and it surprises me how each has its own personality. Different photos for whatever reasons. This La Jolla landscape was on facebook so I decided to bring it over to flickr. A theme or style should be developing after all these years but I don't see it. That can't be good.
