    To get to this spot we had to hike a couple miles out along a ridge between the highway and the ocean (Skyline Trail) ... the road you can see in the distance winds its way through the Cape Breton highlands and it is indeed a spectacuar drive !!

    Funny, I wrote that comment seven months ago before I ever had any idea I was to travel to Cape Breton. I totally recognize this shot. It was such a stunningly beautiful trip. I guess it had rained there for three straight weeks and the few days that we traveled through, it was beautiful! We were so lucky. saw about three cars an hour 'cause it was in May. As they say, when you visit the cape, you'll be back, and I'm sure I will. Everyone was so friendly, and the culture is so much strogner there than anywhere else I've traveled. A fantastic Canadian province.
