North Cascade National Park, Washington State

This is one of the most rugged and least accessible National Parks in the United States. There are few roads and buildings in this Park, which makes it popular mostly with backpackers and mountain climbers. There are a lot of peaks to choose from, like Tradition Peak, Mount Revelations, and the Little Beaver Peak, just to name a few that are visible in this picture. In the distance we can see Mount Rainier, which at 4,392 m (14,411 ft) is the tallest peak in Washington State and in the Cascades, and the most prominent summit in the contiguous United States.
