I was hoping for a nice day for my visit to what is probably Canada's most scenic square mile. When I got there in the early morning of August 4th 2006, it didn't look like I would have much to photograph at all. The hills were completely blanketed in thick fog and, to add insult to injury, it was pouring rain - I didn't think that you could get fog AND heavy rain at the same time. Now I know you can! I have seen hundreds of postcards of Lake Louise, but I had never seen one that looked quite like this picture!
