I guess corn doesn't have a lot of flavor to begin with so I don't suppose there's any difference in flavour but gorgeous colours against the plain cement

kalandrakas, these were not for sale so i was not able to taste them. it should taste like normal corn, but maybe not like that of the soft Japanese sweet corn variety.

I would have found that interesting too! Although in Autumn of each year we have a lot of different colors of Indian corn.
Does the orange corn taste different from the yellow corn?

Wondering how it taste when cooked? same shade of Orange when cooked?? hmmm...yummy rin kaya as sweet corn?

This photo brings out the vibrant of life. Nice shot!

Ha ha ha!! the color looks really captivating and edible but this kind of corn are not commonly eaten by human as they are too hard when dried. If its eaten its usually ground to the size of a rice grain and boiled to soften just like sinaing. People also feed this to swine and poultry in their farms. There are plenty of this in my hometown in Mindanao. Some even have multiple colors in a cob. I hope to capture it soon to share the photos here in flickr.
