Met up with my wonderful friend Megan last week.

It was so nice and refreshing to hear her respond, when I asked her how things were going at the moment, that "I love my life. I am so happy. It is literally amazing."

She has a new house and job and love, all of which she is totally enamoured with. It was rather nice to hear.

I have the Doors on almost constant repeat on my iphone and recently has been no different.

I hit the Coromandel Penninsula with my home-splices for a few days.

There were some amazing scenes but Cathedral Cove was spectacular, definitely lived up to the billing.

This is little stef (it is his 14th b day today) under a very small watefall.

The taking of this really cracked me up. I was on a bit of an ad-hoc road trip with my 13 year old bro Stefan, my girlfriend Alexa and flatmate Adam. Stef has just got to that age where girls are no longer revolting but are instead all he thinks about. It has been a rather sudden transition and is funny to witness.

Anyway, we were on this Pa (special type of Maori site) looking out over doubtless bay. it was just us there and then this couple cam up to watch the sunset. They sat down and were clearly sharing a romantic moment. Stefan decided it might be funny to go over and sit next to them. He was thought it was hilarious and kept glancing back over his shoulder trying to contain laughter. He clearly wanted me to take a picture of it and I have to admit it was quite funny, if not as hilarious as he seemed to think.

I don't think they minded particularly although he persisted in sitting there mock-contemplating the sunset for a good 5-10 minutes. Perhaps it was as funny as he thought.

I quite like the result just because it makes me smile. So there.
