Here's one last shot from Marblehead. It's pretty similar to the first one I uploaded but it's actually taken from a bit further back and then up on top of a big rock outcropping. By this time the sun was just beginning to break above the cloud bank on the eastern horizon, throwing some direct light on things. This meant shorter exposure times, so I was able to catch an incoming wave (it took a few tries to get one that was uniform like this along the coast). I was particularly drawn to the way the water was taking a greenish color near the shore, which can happen when bubbly foamy water from previous waves is forced underneath an incoming wave that's still mostly free of bubbles. I've obviously enhanced the green just a tad, but it's actually not that far from the original.
After this I'll go back and finish off the waterfalls from the fall in Western MA.
