TACTICAL RIG

TACTICAL RIG

The Tactical Rig was something I sourced and sold early 2011. It was made for run 'n gun GH2 shooters. The key accessory is the ST Grip which allows shooters to also trigger video record remotely. I only had a dozen to sell.
The rig itself could be considered OEM as there is no brand to it, and there are now several variations of it.

Kit:
Panasonic GH2 + Modified Canon 17-102 f2
Tactical Rig (OEM rig + ST Grip)

HEAVY RIG #1

HEAVY RIG #1

This was a monstrous rig with a lot of accessories. Never went into production, lol. The Tekkeon MyPower is one of my favorite accessories as it can power any camera with the right tips. Here I also use it as a counterweight. It's mounted via a specialised mount made by CPM Film Tools.
Since the weight was getting heavy, I decided to use the Cinetactics mattebox, a lightweight alternative made of ballistic nylon.
The Cinevate articulating handle is the only handle roughly centered so it won't tip over when I use one hand.
The EVF & H4N are mounted via an item that is designed for dual flashes.

Kit:
Panasonic GH2 + Tokina 28-70 f2.8
Phottix base plate, rods, cage
Cinevate articulating handle
Zacuto EVF
Zoom H4N
Dual Flash mount

PHOTTIX TRAFO JNR.

PHOTTIX TRAFO JNR.

Assembled from the same parts from the regular Trafo rig by Phottix.
It's basically a lighter run 'n gun version.
Every rig item is from Phottix.

Camera: Panasonic GH2 with OCT-19 adapter + Lomo 80mm

PROAIM RIG

PROAIM RIG

The ProAim DSLR rig was my first rig. ProAim was the first somewhat cheaper alternative to the likes of Red Rock. I think this cost me close to US$1,000.
Incredible how prices of rigs have now dropped since.
Camera: Canon 7D + 24-105mm
