Friction Wound No 1 - Day 1

After having removed the loose skin and let it rest for 24 hours I went by the drugist and bought a pack of medium sized Compeed Blister Plasters and a bottle of Pyrisept (antiseptic fluid). A quick squirt from the antiseptic (and now I remembered I forgot to rinse it off afterwards...ooops) and a few minutes to dry and then on with the Compeed.

After a couple of hours the blister plaster had sucked opp quite a lot of fluid from the wound and created a protecting and healing environment.

This is totally tight and keeps away bacteria, dirt and other unwanted things.

Now all I can do is wait for the body to heal itself.

Pyrisept is just ordinary antiseptic fluid. It contains "Cetylpyridinklorid" and "natriumedetat", both antibacterial ingredients in addition to 100% pure water with the same pH as blood itself (won't hurt when applying).

Compeed you should REALLY look into! Follow the link I provided and read more about it.

Mattfiora and Tygerlyl: I hope I'm doing the right thing. I haven't had these kinds of wounds since I was little so I really don't know what time I should expect it to have healed.
As I said to The Norwegian: Football match tonight :(

There's nothing like a good Compeed - just got off them after three weeks. Same ski boots - same wounds!
