Processed a bit in Lightroom to bring out the effect.

This shot is looking east after sunset when the light is still bouncing trough the atmosphere and lighting the mountains.

1/3 second exposure using a 8 stop ND filter around 4pm.

Though it looks like it was shot with a much longer lens, this is at 85mm on my Canon 7D. The waterfall really is that big.

1/3 second exposure with 8 stop ND filter. I love being able to shoot long exposures in the dappled sunlight. Lightroom 4 is great for knocking down the highlights.

Simulated a ND grad filter on the top of the image in Lightroom to balance the bright sky and Half Dome with the reflection in the water. Because I shoot in RAW I was able to pull a lot of detail out of the shadows in Lightroom.
