Yellow House
I stopped on my way home from work tonight to shoot this abandoned house. It's in Washington County, kind of near Forest Grove.
This is my 9th shot to get explored and first to make the front page!
Thank you for looking!

That deep shadow in the foreground really sets the stage for this image. Very dimensional and the way the house caught the light is perfect.

Thanks for the comments Cliff, Pamela, Christina, Darrell, Douglas and Lynn! It's been awhile since I posted a new shot. It's been killing me that I haven't taken a shot outside of my front yard for a month.

Dang oh Double Dang!!! This is sweet to the greeny max Ron! This whole scene looks surreal and dream like. The lighting is incredible. I hope you'll do great with your auction. I know you've put a lot of work into it.

I hope the auction draws everything you have hoped and more. It is a wonderful cause and a great charity! Thank you for letting us be a part of it!
This is a very interesting image. I really like the fantasy like felling of the grass and of course the yellow house increases that theme through the rest of the image. Very cool!

What a GORGEOUS little scene here Ron. Love the way you've processed it with the yellows in the FG matching the house so nicely in luminosity. It almost sounds like I know what I'm talking about.... :)

Kudos Ron on your great charitable works. Very admirable. Hope it exceeds your wildest expectations. Kudos to Aaron and Zeb too for their wonderful support.
Beautiful image! Wonder why it's abandoned? Looks quite homey and lovely. Really like the yellow/green hues radiating throughout the image under those glorious blue skies. Excellent shot Ron.

I was so excited when I saw this picture I did a back flip. However, I was in a sleeping bag...so it got really weird. My cat looked at me as though he no longer accepted me as his owner. Then I realized I had no cat, and wondered why this creature was in my home!
See, your photo has set off a chain of events that not even Ashton Kutcher could fix!
