Against Censorship at Flickr

If your Yahoo! ID is based in Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong or Korea you will only be able to view safe content based on your local Terms of Service so won’t be able to turn SafeSearch off.
In other words that means, that german, koreans, singaporeans, chineses from Hong Kong users can not access photos on flickr that are not flaged "safe" ... only flowers and landscapes for them ...
We will not let this happen! Copy and upload this picture to your account - show flickr who we are!

www.flickr.com/groups/againstcensorship

Art should never be censored, ever, anywhere, individuals can purchase "nanny software", they have the freedom to do so, as we should have the freedom to full access to all images. Restriction breeds secrecy and contempt, and that only leads to eruptions of anger and an atmosphere of mistrust. This malaise serves to destroy the creative process which is the heart of civilisation, without it humanity is but an ant farm.

    unacceptable
