Under bombardment!

You don't want to find yourself at a bombing location when it "rains"...
I managed to catch that bomb just a flick of a second before it joined its sisters in the ground.

Artillery? Or are these dumb bombs coming off a plane?

  12. zuf1 (35 months ago | reply)

Mark - they came off an F16. Check xnir's release photo: www.flickr.com/photos/xnir/3665295070/ seconds before.

NG - do send it to me!
    I always thought they bounce.

Great photo. Amazing timing with the capture.
Reminds me of a few of Murphy's Laws of Combat.
The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.
Incoming fire has the right of way.
When you are forward of your position, the artillery will always be short.
When the enemy is closing, the artillery will always be long.
Never draw fire -- it irritates everyone around you.
