Sparrow & Kingfisher
The Sparrow, a heavy Interceptor, and the Kingfisher, a heavy torpedo bomber, were both developed around the new drive field technology.

Kingfisher
Two heavy torpedo tubes are the main feature of the Kingfisher. Sophisticated sensor systems give the bomber excellent vision and tracking. A pair of drive field generators in locked positions provide a very stable firing platform and respectable speed for a heavy bomber.

Sparrow
Three drive field generators, with limited geometry options, give the Sparrow enormous straight-line acceleration and good transverse accelerations. The targeting array punches through ECM and hull to discover vulnerabilities in the target.
