10/52 Newry Covered Bridge - Today I took a drive to Maine and stopped on the way home in Newry. This is a covered bridge that is located there. A couple of years back I shot a wedding on this bridge. A great location and setting for a wedding. This week it makes the symmetry theme. This was shot from the ground level at one end of the bridge. I was trying to get as much detail as possible in the shot...with the rafters etc. It was bitterly cold out and I didn't feel like changing to a wider lens so my 24-105mm did just fine.

"Outtake" from the motion theme for the group. A possible 52 week shot for the group. It was a tough call because I really like this shot that captures the stream flowing. I wanted to post the other photo (below in stream) because it's a little different than what I'd put for a 'motion' shot. This was photographed in Jackson, NH which leads to the Jackson Falls.

9/52 In Like A Lion - Out Like A Lamb I guess. We'll find out in about 1 month or so. With all the lack of Winter we got so far this year today is 3/1/12 and we are getting a nice little snow storm to dump about 6-12 inches of fresh snow. I like this shot for the theme for this week in the group as it captures the movement and motion of the falling snow and blowing snow. It was coming down quite hard at the time I took this shot headed from North Conway to Berlin, NH. Press 'L' for this one..it's nicer on black and a bit bigger!
