Saw this interesting Buffalo Bills fan van. Buffalo Bills is one of the NFL (National [American] Football League) teams.
The "collapse" of the U.S. Dollars since 2002 or so has meant a 50% surge for the Canadian Dollar and it's become a weekend pasttime for Canadians to head across the border to cities like Buffalo, New York, to do some serious shopping.
The U.S. has always had lower prices than Canada, and now with the CAD-USD exchange rate having gone up from CAD 1 = USD 0.65 to CAD 1 = USD 1, scores of Canadians are finding bargains in the U.S.
I don't have a car but my friends gave me a ride to Buffalo. But being a typical moody male shopper, I wasn't in the mood and actually none of us bought anything in Buffalo, strangely.
