  • I don't know the proper names for either print but they are both Suzuko Koseki. The green one is called "Antique Stripe" on Superbuzzy. You can still buy it in brown or red superbuzzy.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=88_95_144. The blue print is often referred to as her Flour Sack print. A slightly different and larger version of the print is still available on Etsy in red or green www.etsy.com/listing/72540135/retro-suzuko-koseki-large-p...
  • Do you know where I can find her plaid fabrics? - goneaussiequilting

I was so inspired from seeing the other compositions popping up that I decided to quickly put my blocks up and take a pic so all three photos could be together in the group! How fun. Can't wait to see more people join the quilt along!

Seeing all our blocks together makes me excited for the finished product!

I tried to answer your note on the picture but Flickr won't let me save it right now. Both prints are Suzuko Koseki. The green print is called "Antique Stripe" on Superbuzzy but I don't know what the official name is. You can still buy it in brown or red superbuzzy.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=88_95_144. The blue print is sometimes referred to as her flour sack print. You can still buy a slightly different and larger scale print in red and white/green www.etsy.com/listing/72540135/retro-suzuko-koseki-large-p....

I see two February 2nds. Is that your birthday? It's cool to be able to put in dates and little things to make it your own.

Love very much the colors. I worked on my blocks all W-end (you are right) it's very addictive but my result is not at all the same. I dig in my old bag of scraps and samples and use them. Mine will have an old-fashion colors,I think the result will be quite different.

No, that's accident. I don't really pay attention when I'm cutting the 3.5" squares. I also don't keep the blocks on the design wall all the time so I can't quickly see what I have already. But such a good idea! I need to find some October 8's
I saw your blocks and they are beautiful! I love how everyone is getting a different result, it's a really neat process to watch and I look forward to seeing more of your blocks!

I didn't realize our birthdays were so close. I'm October 10. I think you can actually find 10 October on some of the Kumiko prints. Not sure about Oct 8 though?

lucky! Yes, you can find lots of October 10's because she tends to use the number of the month with the month. We'll have to celebrate our birthdays in Japan one of these years.
