The gentlest little creature anyone could imagine.
His take on hunting is catching leaves in the wind. He catches them and proudly brings them inside to show them off to us.

A couple of days ago, Nico was quietly keeping me company outside while I got shot after shot of the many beautiful little finches in our locust tree. He would occasionally bat my foot with his paw for attention and I obliged him with a shot or two of him, including this one.,,,it seemed to make him happy. I had just refocused on the tree when he ...from a seated position beside me about 5 or 6 feet away from the tree...shot straight past my lens and right UP into the tree, effortlessly snatching one of the finches off a branch 6 and a half feet above the ground.

I got it away from him in a matter of seconds, but he had scared it to death.

I can't even LOOK at the bird shots now, I am certain the poor little victim was in one of the shots.
