Happy New Year everyone! Here is my first piece of the year which is a cover illustration for Washington State Magazine. The piece revolves around the college's dept. of Microscopy & Imaging which study many interesting and strange microscopic worlds (which fits really well with the kind of stuff that I like to paint). I'll post the final cover when I receive the printed magazine...

Big numbers, heart, teeth, and many other things make up the ingredients of my final "hyper-collage" piece of 2011. As per usual, this one took longer than expected. Every time I think I'm getting close to the finish line on one of these pieces I end up obsessively adding a ton of additional elements. In any case, I'm very happy to say that this one is done. Thanks for taking a look!
