The Rock
A fixture in Ann Arbor, The Rock sits on a piece of land called "Washington Park" at Hill and Washtenaw. I pass by it when I walk to/from work. During the course of a year, it probably gets painted over 60 times or more. The paint is inches thick in some spots. Personally, although I find it somewhat amusing, I find the idiots that paint it annoying, as they often paint the sidewalk (making it slick when it rains) or they leave their crap over the place -- and the biggest offenders are the fraternities.

Oh, more than 60 times! Sometimes it's painted twice in the course of a day!

That's pretty neat. There's a storm drain near near one of the high schools where I live that gets painted like that. It's on a steep hill and I always have to laugh thinking about how many kids have probably fallen in the river while painting. :D

There's supposed to be a plaque buried beneath all that paint somewhere.
