- Nikon 150mm f/5.6 W
>Sold together for $700
-Calumet 6x7 roll film holder (not pictured_
>$100
>$750 for everything together
The Alpina is the lightest camera with full movements made by Sinar. It is in very good condition with smooth movements and no cosmetic or structural flaws/damage. Comes with 17" rail which is great for macro work. All metal design and synthetic bellows means it is well suited for shooting outside, in adverse conditions.
If you are familiar with the Sinar F1, this camera is very similar. The primary difference is the flat rail, where other Sinar models have a cylindrical rail--this is the reason it is so light, though. Other than the rail, every other component is compatible with the full range of Sinar's modular parts and accessories. If you are not familiar with the Sinar accessory collection, the camera can be fitted with adaptors for Nikon, Canon, and other digital camera bodies, which gives your digital camera real movements for advanced focus racking and perspective shifting techniques. There are also special backs that allow you to shoot a variety of medium format aspect ratios (from 6x6 to 6x12). The full range of accessories can be viewed here www.cameramanuals.org/prof_pdf/sinar-01.pdf
Along with the kit comes an immaculate, very minty Nikon 150mm f/5.6 - f/90, with shutter speeds from 1s - 1/500s (also has bulb and T settings). The 150mm focal length is consider "normal" for 4x5--50mm lens in 35mm camera terms. This lens is a newer vintage with full multi coating. The shutter speeds are accurate, the aperture is smooth, and its blades are oil free. The optics are free from any dust, scratches, or other defects. In short, this lens is excellent. It is by far the best piece of glass I have every owned.
Not pictured is a 120/220 roll film holder in 6x7 format. It's kind of old school, but it is clean, light tight, and works well. This can be purchased separately from the rest of the kit.
Send me an email if you have any questions or interest in buying it.
