Sunshine and flowers

Blue sky, flowers and sunshine. What more could you ask for on a cold winter day? I treated myself to some potted chrysanthemums to brighten my weekend. :-D

This was a tricky shot trying to get a starburst without over-exposing the petals and washing out the blue sky.

No cropping or processing.

I like your perspective with this capture! Sure warmed up a cold day! I have to say, I have always had a hard time saying and spelling this flower but love them nonetheless! Oh, and what a great sunburst!

    Thanks everyone! :-D

Scott: LOL! That's the beauty of a macro - you get a bug's view of the world.

Leo: thanks! I hope and pray your mom is doing well.

Cindy: thanks! And I like your new icon. :-)

Doug: nope. No filters. When I upgrade to a DSLR, I am definately going to buy an IS lens. Stopping down the camera for a macro means lots of camera shake.

Jeannie: thanks! You always have such nice things to say about my work.

Carol: hiya and thanks! I kinda like the bug's view of life. :-P
