Roughly conical hole for lens extension (Camera is flush with back of box, extended lens almost flush with front)

Cutout for movie/camera mode switch

Unseen - a hinged door to access lcd screen just in case.

here's the innards of the box i am hiding my camera in The depth field is off, but the surrounding foam is the full depth of the box, while the slot with the hole (for the camera) is shallow. all junctions of the foam are cardboard reinforced to provide stability.
